tortoise to a good home

Very sad to be writing this but I am looking for a good home for my tortoise, Mako. Mako is a male Russian tortoise about 10 years old. I got him before I went to college and he has spent the last 10 or so years with me. I travel a lot for work and just can not give him the life he needs any more. When I travel, I usually have to drive him a long distance so a friend can watch him and that is hard on him. These tortoises are great pets for young kids, and their maintenance is super easy. They eat pretty much any vegetable, and some small amounts of fruit, or you can buy special pet food (but he prefers fresh veggies).
