Mary K. Grant is in her seventies, still quite hale and hearty, agile as all heck, but in need of some help from a younger, stronger and positively more attractive man or woman (preferably with an SUV) to bring, set up and sell at her art booth for her dba "Mary Paints 'N Pencils", now in its 3rd year, from a large 10 x 10 tent, at future regional festival venues. (this may expand into more events in subsequent years!) Anyone interested in the coming year in making some money through profit sharing (not ownership shares) in my art booth in the Rochester Metro region in the Finger Lakes should get in touch right away. The season will feature four major arts festivals for the public to attend chiefly on weekends. these include: "Art in the Park", a division of the Lilac Festival held annually in beautiful Highland Park in May; the Corn Hill Festival held in July on streets in the beautiful suburb of Corn Hill in the City of Rochester; The M&T Memorial Art Museum's Clothesline Festival in August; and the "Artfest on the Avenue" Art and Gift Indoor Fair offered by the TBK Sisterhood in October. All but one is held outdoors, with the Lilac running for two consecutive weekends, the Corn Hill for two days, and the "Clothesline" running for two weekends. Excitement abounds. Ribbons, cash prizes to new artists and awards provide some competition for the booth owners. NEEDED: Preferably a younger, stronger and attractive partner who is an SUV owner, to help with the tent at these times. So, she is offering to anyone interested in owning a share of the business under contract for one year in 2023, the following (to be discussed): 1) If you want to offer some investment capital to pay for fest fees ($900 total), receive in return 50% of all sales revenue for the four festivals. 2) If you just want to partner up and share the work of it all, receive in return 25% of all sales revenues for your time and effort. But keep in mind that this lady will remain the sole proprietor and permanent owner of both the booth and the artwork sold there. You could invest and be just a silent partner, but she does need the elbow grease offer. Additionally, due to fest rules, booth owners cannot split the booth between two artists and their wares.
