Ok...... Here's the deal. I play the heck out of the guitar. I sing. I don't suck. I can front a band...or I can sing backup...don't matter. I am 60...which is the new 40. I have a repotoire of 300 songs from B.B. King to Cage the Elephant. I live, eat, sleep, dream rock and roll. All I need is : A p.a. A spot to plug in Drums Bass Keys And maybe one more guitar. But I've tried this so many frustrating times...I can never find just 3 or 4 like minded players that want to tightly cover hits and investigate some originals. If you like the idea of a tribute band...I'm willing to play every song Tom petty ever wrote...but tributes are a LOT of work. I want to record and play out 2-3 times a mo. I'm thinking... "All 80s New Wave/Punk(ish)" Ramones, The Cars, The police, the clash, Romantics, Joan Jett, Devo, Talking Heads, Squeeze, etc (think skinny black leather ties) The world is my oyster. 420 friendly.... Come on....stop growing old and call me. My name's Chuck...seriously...if the thought of never making music scares you s*@#less....just like it does me...then call me.
