Description
I have an 03 chevy silverado 4wd. We replaced the open differential with a tru track LSD. When you go around a right hand curve you hear a rubbing noise, only going right not left. So we pulled the cover and I can see where the left axle is rubbing the cross pin. This tells me the differential has to go more to the right side, but if I do that I will have zero back lash. I think the pinion has to be set deeper so the differential can move over. Tried doing it twice with no luck. I dont have a pinion depth guage and tried to use a micrometer i have to make bullets with but it was hard to get it right. Anyone good at setting a differential interested? Text
. Thanks
