A new kind of Denver New Years Eve Party...making it ACCESSIBLE, INCLUSIVE, and RESILIENT ❤️Located in Denver's Northside in the Highlands, Shared Ground celebrates community resilience through land, liberation, spirit and song. Join us for a highly collaborative NYE party at Denver's NEWEST climate and community resilience sanctuary! Dream with us as we continue to build up our space and events, and ring in the New Year with celebration and intention. We want to collaborate with you to create a unique and accessible party to gather with loved ones, meet new friends, and imagine/create a future where humans live in harmony with the natural living systems around us that yearn for our participation. This event is created FOR you/us BY you/us! Find yourself wanting to CELEBRATE and have fun without numbing-out in club settings? Shared Ground holds a community that is reflective, intentional, and connective that also knows how to have a good time. As a collaborative party this is one to be an active part of, not to *just* attend... You, your community, and ideas are welcome and encouraged to make this event and space feel like our shared home away from home. WHAT TO EXPECTMultiple Rooms of Activities cocktail/mingling roomdance floor!reflective area for meditation and quietfamily friendly lounge/living room vibes with food!Elixir Bar add your own alcohol (if desired) or sip as-is!Delicious homemade food vegan + gluten-free options!A sense of *home away from home* vibe and connectboard games/group games + activitieschild care + family inclusive spacesLocal DJ's come through with your dance groupbreakdancing, showing off, vibing in the corner.. all are encouraged!dance with your kids (they're the best dancers though, amiright?)The vibe of this space is fun, joyous, inclusive, and creative! We are NOT a grungey club but an intentional/reflective, inclusive, and justice-oriented community. Gather all of your friends and family for a night that will be highly memorable and foundational to you and Shared Ground! IMPORTANT PARTY DETAILS + RULESParticipation/payment options: pay a sliding donation cover OR collaborate/contribute to waive the fee. Alcohol is BYOB! Majority of the rooms will be ALCHOL-FREE zones. Designated drinking areas will still be a vibe - be respectful always. (Periodt!)Kids are welcome! Let your kids hang in a kid-fun room (with volunteer supervisors) or let them be wherever you are at your own discretion.ADDITIONAL INFOTickets: Sold in advance and at-door. Dress Code: Celebratory attire encouraged- whatever that looks like for you! Pay or Volunteer: This is a sliding scale event with a suggested donation ranging $15-$100 (whatever you can afford to support Shared Ground).
