Description
I recently acquired 16 parakeets from someone no longer able to care for them. The majority of them are bonded and will go as pairs. The others can go individually.
Colors vary, but all are healthy, chatty little things.
Their diet consists of greens (fresh and dried), parakeet seed, oat groats, and millet.
The majority are about 2 years old with a few that are about 1 year old. The youngest are nest mates and are the ones that can go individually.
There is one pair that was allowed to breed once by the previous owner...thus the few younger birds. The others have not.
As all the birds came to me in 2 large attached flight cages, I did hang nest boxes up so I could figure out who the bonded pairs are. Nest boxes have since been removed.
Asking $25 for single birds and $40 for pairs which is well under what you will pay someone/somewhere else.
Serious inquires only. I will not respond to "is this still available", or "I'm interested" notes.
These birds are in need of a home, not a rescue.
