i have fully cycled sponge filters large enough for 40 gallon aquariums. you can use these on smaller aquariums simply by using a smaller size aquarium air pump or you can use a larger air pump & use a control valve to limit/reduce air flow from air pump. Conversely you can use these with aquariums larger than 40 gallons by simply using 2 or more sponge filters. these are GREAT to use with adult axolotls or slow moving fish such as discus or ANY type of fish fry or larval newts or larval salamanders! it takes 2 weeks to 2 months to fully cycle a sponge filter so these are also GREAT for using to accelerate the cycling process with new aquariums. 15 each. call ben at , no text messages please as this is a landline, thanks.
