We are hiring a candidate for a Float Cleaner who is able to fill in various facility locations. This position requires someone who is flexible and adaptable to perform a variety of different cleaning job duties in the Greater Orlando area. As a floater, you will work closely with the Operations Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include covering a route temporarily due to an employee personal time off or when an employee calls out sick or for other matters where coverage is needed and as assigned by the Operations Supervisor. You will also assist the Operations Supervisor to perform Quality Assurance checks on the various facilities our company cleans. Job Duties: • Clean all facility lobbies, office rooms and common areas (as specified per facility) • Empty all trash containers and replace liners daily – this includes all office rooms, exam rooms, staff lounges and kitchens, and all restrooms • Dust all horizontal surfaces including office fixtures, furniture, filing cabinets, window ledges, desktops, and tabletops • Dust all window blinds, picture frames, and televisions • Clean and disinfect telephones • Clean and sanitize all light switches, door handles and other high touch surfaces • Thoroughly clean office floors using mops and pads per protocol • Vacuum floors/carpet • Clean glass partitions if office space has these present • Ensure bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard and equipped with the appropriate amount of paper towels • Ensure bathroom sinks and countertops are cleaned and sanitized • Refill hand soaps in all bathrooms, exam rooms and staff lounges • Clean and disinfect chairs, refrigerators, and microwaves in staff lounges • Maintain supplies and equipment in designated closet as instructed by the facility staff Knowledge and Qualifications required: • Knowledge of janitorial cleaning functions and duties • Proper dilution and use of cleaning chemicals • Ability to safely use cleaning equipment • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work within time constraints and be able to prioritize tasks • Awareness and understanding of health and safety standards • Follow dress code as instructed by the Company • Must be able to pass background check as required Physical Demands: • Long periods of standing and walking • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching Compensation is $15 per hour. Part-time or full-time. Must be available for weekday and weekend work. Must be a U.S. resident and be able to provide a valid driver's license and valid Social Security Card.
