You’ll receive valuable tools, information and motivation to take back to your business, organization and community. Headlining the first ever Change Inspired, Courage Ignited is a unique opportunity to hear a moderated discussion with some of the most prominent forward-thinking leaders in our community, including: Tonya Aikens, Howard County Library System (HCLS) President & CEOLakey Boyd, Columbia Association (CA) President/CEOThese women will share their candid and honest insights, reflecting on their experiences of overcoming obstacles, finding meaning in their work and embracing the power of positive change. Change Inspired, Courage Ignited will also include informative break out sessions to help you better connect and make a difference. Compassionate Engagement: How to Show Up For Everyone (and Why It Matters) - presented by Claudia Allen of the Howard County Office of Human Rights and EquityEmpower Yourself! A Guided Reflection and Discussion to Help You Soar - presented by Katie DiSalvo-Thronson of HCLS & Amy Brooks of Oakland Mills OnlineAdditionally, participants 21 and under are welcome to participate in a Restorative Peace Circle. This opportunity will be led by Erika Strauss Chavarria of Columbia Community Care and a team of experienced facilitators. Change Inspired, Courage Ignited is free and open to all.
