For a detailed explanation with lots of colorful photos, click here, In short: it is a folk celebration that takes place on New Year's Eve, January 13 by the old Julian calendar, the feast of St. Melania. It features the same traditional foods as for Christmas Eve, plus lots of neighborhood caroling, in costume.

Arrive 6pm for appetizers, dinner service will begin at 7pm. Entertainment during dinner, followed by Torte Buffet (wow!) Be prepared for a sing-a-long and wear your dancing shoes! Wine will be offered at a cash bar, and some interesting items for silent auction.
Select your dinner option when you buy your ticket: adults have a choice of braised beef, salmon, or eggplant (vegetarian), all entrees include two side dishes, house salad, rolls and butter, and beverages (coffee, hot tea, iced tea, lemonade.) Children's dinner entree: breaded chicken tenders with macaroni and cheese.
