March is National Women’s History Month, which is the time to honor the women who came before us and their contributions to pave the way for equality among all races and genders. It is fitting for members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to also celebrate one of the sorority’s principles of Finer Womanhood in the last week of February and the entire month of March.
During this time, sorority members reflect on the reasons we joined this great Sorority and how we can be of better service to our communities and around the world.
Through the Sapphire and Pearls Foundation, a nonprofit 501c3 entity, our chapter is able to:
enhance, cultivate, and empower communities to develop health promoting lifestyle choices across the lifespan through our interactive, holistic multidimensional outreach program ~ Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE) provide services for elementary at-risk youth ~ Adopt-a- School partnership, help groom high school-aged young ladies to be awesome women ~ Archonettes, assist low-to-moderate income expectant mothers in seeking prenatal care ~ Stork’s Nest support the attainment of higher education for women ~Yvonne B. Miller ScholarshipSponsorship proceeds will go towards the initiatives of The Sapphire and Pearls Foundation.
