We are excited to bring this one-of-a-kind event back in person! Get your tables and tickets early and meet us on February 25 at the Hilton College Station for the 22nd Annual Appreciation Banquet. This event honors and publicly recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to our community, state or country and includes dinner, entertainment, and an auction. The deadline for table reservations and sponsorships is January 31st. Individual ticket reservations made after February 7th will be open seating. You can also contact the museum with questions at 979-775-3961. The banquet is the major fundraiser for the Museum whose budget is dependent on the success of the event. The banquet helps the Brazos Valley African American Museum to operate the museum, offer programs for the community and school children, bring in new exhibits, provide staff development opportunities, and conduct school outreach and activities. Donations are appreciated as they support the operations, programs, and activities sponsored by the Brazos Valley African American Museum. The Society is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Organization. The Museum is an Arts Council Affiliate and this event is made possible in part through Hotel Tax Revenue Funding from the City of College Station through the Arts Council of Brazos Valley.
