Deep winter transitions into spring and you are offered the space to reflect on what has been gained from the hibernation period of the months prior. New growth is beginning to stir and the afternoon will begin with inward focused yoga practices that allow you to notice what is emerging. Soft and subtle will transition into a more active flow as you couple the internal work with your outward movements.
Following the yoga practice, choose to walk through the forest quietly to process or with others to gain community insight. Return back to the shelter for a rich vegan stew to match the season and wines paired to enrich the meal.
The event will be centered at the main enclosed picnic shelter at Big Sioux Recreation Area. Enveloped by trees, the shelter offers protection from the elements while maintaining connection with the outside world. Roaring fires will warm the shelter as we practice yoga and enjoy the communal meal.
Admission includes:
Yin and vinyasa yoga
Breathwork
Journal/reflection prompts
Group hike
Rich seasonal stew (vegan, GF, DF) and accompaniments
Wine pairing (as well as non-alcoholic beverage options)
