Grey Tabby Cat needs a furever home

Looking for a good home for a 13-pound, male, grey tabby cat that we took off the street on 12/11. We've been calling him Roger, and he seems very friendly and likes sitting in my lap and being pet. I live in a townhouse complex that has many community cats, but when I first noticed Roger outside, he seemed very tame and it looked like he did not understand the community cat social structure. I opened my front door and he came right inside, so my guess is he was someone's pet. I posted a Found ad on Craigslist, but nobody contacted me to claim him. Also, the vet could not find a microchip on him, and the local shelters did not have any record of a lost cat matching his description. We took him to the vet on 12/21, where he got rabies and distemper shots, and the vet said he looks to be in very good health. We have a follow-up appointment in January for his neuter and to check his status for FIV and feline leukemia. Asking for a rehoming fee, not to exceed the cost of the vet visits. Please let me know if you think he would be a good fit in your home.
