Percussion Player and Others Sought by Traditional Music Group

Meets

Washington DC

Description

We are a new group that welcomes all musicians, listeners and singers at all levels and all ages. We are in immediate need of a percussionist such as a bongo player. We specialize in timeless favorites from the 20th and 19th centuries. There’s a demand for this unpretentious music among family audiences. If you are a musical snob or boxed into a musical corner of one type of music, please don’t respond. We also invite songwriters to pen some new tunes for us. Beginning on Jan 8, we meet 3 PM each Sunday at the Foggy Bottom public library in upscale DC. The exact library location is 2301 L St NW, DC. It's 1 1/2 blocks from Foggy Bottom metro. There's plenty of free street parking on Sunday if coming by car. Please come and bring your instrument and, if you have one, your voice. You can also bring a friend or two. There will be a small amp to plug into, if you desire, or you can play acoustically. Music books will be provided.
