One of the easiest and most approachable types of printmaking that enables artists to make numerous copies from their own hand-carved image is stamp carving. The transfer of a drawing or image onto a linoleum block, various carving methods, carving and printing setup, safety, supplies, and the printing procedure will all be covered in this workshop. How to print your own stamp impressions: everything you need to know! There will be no shortage of supplies, including a 4"x6" block of linoleum. Cards, patches, and mini journals will be just a few of the items you can print on. The use of a 4"x6" drawing or image is encouraged, as well as any flat surface you'd like to print on.
