Join us as we welcome Karen Bruno, Northwest Girl Choir’s new Artistic Director. Karen will share how she guides her choirs to success using CMP. This instructional model was developed by teachers in Wisconsin almost 50 years ago and helps teachers develop and deepen their students' musical experiences in the classroom. Workshop participants will get an overview of a planning tool that is rigorous, flexible, and student-centered. Please bring 3-5 pieces of music you plan to teach; this will be an interactive workshop that invites self-reflection and provides practical tools. This workshop will be photographed for promotional materials for NWKE. Clock Hours available.
