MAR Acquisition is looking for a property superintendent to help maintain thirteen properties, mainly throughout Elizabeth and one property in Jersey City. MAR Acquisition Group will provide a company vehicle, health insurance and a competitive pay.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license, work authorization and the ability to speak, write and read English (Spanish is a plus).
Daily duties include:
Maintaining the properties: service calls, preparation for inspections, routine maintenance work, which includes: work order requests from tenants: lighting, basic plumbing, faucets etc. Anything that is unable to be fixed will be transitioned to our subcontractors.
Making sure properties and units are in good condition, while reporting anything that is unusual to the office.
Assisting in shoveling snow when applicable.
Basic housing maintenance.
Emergency services as needed (may require weekends/nights)
Taking out the garbage from dumpsters from various properties on a daily basis, to the curb of the street in the morning and then returning the bins to the properties later on in the day.5
