The Yoga Wall™ is a system of wall-mounted adjustable straps and harnesses based on BKS Iyengar’s original rope wall that will help you find more ease and versatility in hundreds of yoga poses. Often described as the mother of all props, the Yoga wall is an incredible tool with multiple applications and uses, particularly in the growing field of Yoga Therapy.
Jason Cull, B.A. C-IAYT, ERYT YACEP will lead this fantastic training. @Socalyogawalls training is uniquely designed to provide an appropriate and adequate amount of contact hours given the depth, quality, and volume of material covered.
Course Description:
Yoga Wall Fundamentals Level I Teacher Training - 15 hours
The origin and history of the Yoga wall and its unique uses and applications
• Review of the Yoga wall equipment, usage, and safety while teaching and practicing
• Asana-Traditional standing poses, basic folds, twists, backbends, and inversions
• Anatomy, biomechanics, and alignment on each Asana for accurate and detailed instruction
• How to provide safe and valuable adjustments for your students
• Instruction and hands-on practice designing and orchestrating a Yoga Wall class for all levels
