All 4 Chambers Healthcare Academy will be offering free CPR training to all ages once a month. CPR is critical when it comes to life saving efforts. Cardiac arrest is not bias when it comes to race, age, or gender. Ask yourself would you know what to do in case of an emergency? Does your family and friends know what to do if you suddenly became unconscious? The magic number is 2 - all u have is 2 minutes to begin CPR once someone stops breathing without a pulse. By 9 minutes, severe and permanent brain damage is likely. How long before help arrives? Get the training you need to make a difference and possibly save someone's life. NOTE: THE AHA DOES MANDATE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR LEARNING CPR. THE ABILITY TO PERFORM CPR IS BASED MORE ON STRENGHT THAN AGE. STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS 9 YEARS OLD CAN LEARN AND RETAIN CPR SKILLS. - CPR.HEART.ORG ALL AGES ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED.
