Description

Join us to learn the fundamentals of block printing while creating your own print or card. This class will demonstrate various inking methods such as a rainbow roll and color layering through the use of multiple blocks. You will learn how to use Niji knives to carve rubber, create a composition, apply ink, and print your block by hand. Students will have the opportunity to carve more than one block. You will be able to print up to a set of ten cards. Come with your own imagery and ideas, and let’s bring them to life! Dates: 1/10, 1/17 | 5:00pm - 7:00pm Limited to 6 makers Instructor: Ashley Quast “Q” Ages: 18+ Cost includes both workshops, materials, space, and instruction.
