Kids: Get crafty with Design Hive, a process-based art and technology studio. This month: Lunar New Year Paper Lanterns! Join us to celebrate the New Year with this fun and festive craft project! Construct festive paper lanterns from decorative paper and a cardboard tube. We'll show you different ways to cut and attach the paper. You'll want to hang these up all year long! Supplies are limited and participation is first come, first served. One project per person present, please. This is a free event with free 2-hour parking validation available upon request from Ivy Station events staff. This programming was created in part through the City of Los Angeles Arts Development Fee Program, Department of Cultural Affairs. About Design Hive: Design Hive is a process-based art and technology studio providing a wide range of hands-on STEAM-based classes, camps, parties, and events for people of all ages. Design Hive also provides professional development and curriculum writing services for schools, museums, and other community organizations; as well as, unique and engaging corporate and team building experiences.
