Help us kick off Forsyth Creek Week 2023 with a hands on clean up event! Join Bee City USA and Old Salem Horticulture program as we remove invasive species including Privet, Kudzu, and English Ivy from along the creek banks of Tanners Run, across the street from Old Salem. Come prepared to get your feet wet, and your hands dirty as we help maintain the integrity of native species along this local creek. All ages welcome, though children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. Please be sure to bring along the following items: Signed liability waiver Closed Toe Shoes Basic Hand Tools such as pruners, lobbers, or hand saws. Water bottleAppropriate clothing (i.e. long pants, jacket, hat, etc..)Questions?
