An assortment of biscuits with an array of meats, cheese, jam & condiments will be served during class for you to enjoy. Perhaps you grew up never having a biscuit — or — you’re someone whose family made biscuits every week. Either way, you are someone who wants to make perfect biscuits every time - no fail. Flaky, Cathead, Angel, Drop are all names and styles of the mythical biscuit. Cheryl Day will talk and demonstrate in class the techniques of making a delicious and great biscuit — featured from her new cookbook “Treasury of Southern Baking”. Topics covered The conversation of shared experiences is driven by participation and your questions. Cheryl’s experience teaches the life-long journey of learned tips in creating the perfect pie dough. During the class Cheryl will be making a classic apple pie filling and creamy, sweet potato pie filling. Should you be unable to make it you may send a friend or family member in your place or sell your spot. In the event that the class is canceled by us, we will provide you with a workshop credit for the rescheduled class or future class of same price.
