Join us for our 11th Annual Women's Empowerment Vision Board Party and Product Swap. This year we are RECLAIMING OUR TIME! Come create your visual plan for 2023 and be encouraged and supported along the way. All supplies will be provided but feel free to bring what ever you need to make your board fabulous. Bring your own personal magazines, stickers, photos, etc. If vision boarding isn't your thing, bring "your thing". Work on scrapbooks, organizing photo albums and even sorting through piles of old mail. It's a calm supportive environment that allows you to get a lot done. Product Swap: Do you have that hair gel that wasn't right for your hair? Or that perfume that is a little too sweet? Bring it and swap it out for something else. Conditioner, shampoo, lotion, perfume, etc.(NO USED LIP OR EYE PRODUCTS) Clothes Swap: If you haven't worn it at all in 2022, then you should swap it out for something else. Clean, gently used tops, jackets, shoes, handbags, etc. See swap rules in event FAQs section. Vision Board FAQs What is a vision board? A collage of images, pictures and affirmations of ones dreams, goals and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation. Who can attend? This event is open to ALL women. Invite your mother, sisters, cousins and co-workers. What do I get with my admission? All Vision Board Supplies (Poster Board, Glue, Magazines, Markers, stickers) Brunch & Drinks Whiskey Tasting by Brown Sugar Bourbon Giveaways/Raffles Music Networking All for only $35!!!! In addition, Manly Handz will be back doing mini back/neck massages for an additional $10! Can tickets be purchased at the door? Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of for $40. Unfortunately, people paying at the door will not be able to schedule massage appointments. What should I bring with me? *Bring old magazines if you have them and personal photos to add to your board. *Clothes or beauty products if you want to participate in the swap How do I dress? The event is indoors and outdoors. Dress casually, comfortably, cute. We will have tables and chairs but vision boarding seems to be so much better when you are spread out on the floor so bring a blanket if you want to spread out on the grass. So jeans and leggings might be the way to go. What is Manly Handz? Manly Handz is a mobile spa service. They will be providing mini neck / back massages. Fee is an additional $10. Is there childcare? Unfortunately, there will not be childcare at this event. Nursing infants are welcome. What's the refund policy? Sorry, No Refunds I can't attend but I would love to donate to future community events sponsored by Zawadi. How do I do that? Thank you in advance. Any clean, gently used women's clothing, handbags, accessories, shoes, etc.; Functioning household electronics, appliances and home decor; unwanted beauty products (please, no eye make up or lipstick; no almost empty products). What are the rules of the Swap? You can bring as many items as you like but we limit the number of items you take to 2 on your first turn, until after everyone gets an opportunity to shop. On your second turn, you get to pick as many items as you brought. Make sure you sign up when you first get to the event because you get to shop in the order in which you sign in. Early bird catches the Prada bag! Left over items will be donated to the Zawadi Cultural Collective community distribution program. Zawadi Cultural Collective is a 501c3 non-profit.
