This will be an evening of fun family celebration - for all ages! Bring a dish to pass, enjoy some uplifting traditional music - live entertainment by “Dawn’s Early Light” band, sing some Christmas carols, join your family on the dance floor, learn something new, laugh, sing, embrace the joy of Christmas, and be surprised during the White Elephant Gift Exchange! If you have experienced Contra/English Country Dance you know the fun involved, if you haven’t, do not worry! It’s brought down to beginner level, easy enough for all ages, from children through grandparents. Henry Ford, himself, loved this dance form, thought it crucial to bring joy into society, and revived the dancing of the his youth in his later years. Mr. Ford hired Mr. Lovett, and dozens of other dancers, to go out, travel the country, and teach others the dance form - which he contributed to encouraging fun family values that brought joy to those in attendance.
