Huntsville, Alabama - Let's Celebrate Black History....This historical event returns to the Alabama A&M University to entertain audiences of all ages. The MWIR features African American Rodeo Athletes from all over the country competing in Traditional Rodeo events including wild Bull Riding. We also give our local horse owners an opportunity to get it on inside the arena as well, by offering the Fast and Furious Relay Race. Teams travel from North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Maryland, Texas and Oklahoma to compete for bragging rights and a cash prize. This event has sold out in the past as it draws over 100 contestants with 14 relay teams. 2023 is on target to do the same if not more! The facility offers general admission, bleacher seating, in a climate controlled arena. Location: 4925 Moores Mill Rd, Huntsville, AL 35811 Concessions are available.
