"The new federal law is about destroying marriage as a sacred institution biblically defined as between a man and a woman. Want to get married?" 1. The Bible has nothing to do with establishing laws! 2. Marriage is nothing more than a contractual agreement....nothing more..... and the government treats it that way. There is a license and there are legal penalties if you breach the agreement. 3. The republicans insisted on pushing the Supreme court to establishing corporations as people so they could skirt the tax laws; however, these corporate "people" have no gender so when companies merge, they are basically marrying. How do conservatives reconcile the fact that these two "people" have married and it's obviously not Biblical. ........................Truth be told, conservatives created the problem that ultimately opened the door to the situation they now wish to protest. My opinion is, you reap what you sow!
