AKC Electric Co. Inc. President Mr. Charles Algernon was our good Samaritan, and saved our house from a fire. An electricity wire in the street outside of our house malfunctioned, caught fire, and fell onto the sidewalk, setting the leaves in our driveway on fire. We were frantically turning off the power supply to our house and trying to prevent the burning leaves from being blown closer to the house. Mr. Charles Algernon happened to be driving by. He got out of his car and called fire department. He then extinguished the fire in the driveway with his fire extinguisher. The fire department arrived within minutes to extinguish the fire on the electric wire. We are so grateful to Mr. Algernon and the fire department for averting a near-disaster!!
