Machining of patterns and molds from Solid models/drawings from various materials. Machining of various materials, (Epoxy Tooling Board, Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Kevlar, Aluminum, Tool Steels, Carbon Steel, Brass, Plastics, etc.) Schedule conformance/attainment/reporting In process inspection, responsible for quality review of all machined components and inspections to insure dimensional specification conformance CNC Programming-, 3 axis to full simultaneous 5 Axis programming, methods of manual and CNC machining, 2 axis CNC lathes, mills, Manual mill. What you will bring to the Team 7-10 years Machining Experience/ CNC Machining and CNC Turning proficiency Skilled Trade/Technical Certification and or Associated Degree (preferred) Excellent Drawing interpretation including GD&T Tolerance specification CNC Programming experience required Read, Write, and edit G-Code Proficient in materials cutting calculations, (Speed (rpm)), Feed rate, and Chip Load requirements Cutting tool selection for materials to be machined Proficient in work holding and fixturing Work from 3d Solid Model part file, igs, stp, parasolid, etc. Knowledge of Solidworks 3d modeling Must have worked with 3,4, & 5 axis mills.
