The text and email associated with this posting are not monitored. --- We are hiring for a first shift (7am to 3:30pm) CNC CAM Programmer. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred 5 years progressive manufacturing experience 2 years experience in CAM programming 3 years experience operating programming and setting up CNC machines Experience setting up, operating, and monitoring various manual lathe machines and turning centers Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and utilize technical information Read and understand shop orders and blueprints Read and use inspection and measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, protractor, ruler) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: CAM programming offline using Edge CAM to allow CNC machines to run more efficiently Independently set up, operate and monitor various CNC machining centers Record production deviations and other notations necessary to consistently improve and produce high quality product Read and follow specific shop instructions and operate various other cutting, grinding and polishing machines to create specific products Perform quality checks on parts produced to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Perform adjustments and calibrations to machines to ensure safe and quality operations Work with production supervisor and others in a cooperative and collaborative manner to expedite orders within the department to meet and exceed customer expectations in a cost-effective manner.
