The text and email associated with this posting are not monitored. --- The Shipping and Receiving Team Member will help our team by performing material handling, shipping, and receiving, and point of use material deliveries using manual and powered equipment. The conveyance team is also responsible for shipping customer orders and keeping inventory of raw materials. Essential Job Functions: Operate powered and manual material handling equipment in a safe manner Records inventory and movement data on a laptop or tablet Observes, corrects, and reports any issues Unloads incoming trucks and performs receiving functions Package and coordinate shipment of finished products and return materials Takes initiative, and works independently on solving problems Works closely with Quality Control team Performs inventory counts, debits inventory as used, and reports non-conformance Assembles and installs point of use racks and ancillaries, as required Operates powered cleaning and scrubbing equipment as required Maintains work area in a clean, neat and orderly manner Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals Complies with all safety practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities Other related duties as assigned Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification is a plus 2 to 5 years’ experience within material handling or warehousing in support of a manufacturing operation. Strong math and problem-solving skills are a MUST Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team Ability to work flexible shifts Basic use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required Strong attention to detail is mandatory Ability to take direction; willingness to learn Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and/or work orders Ability to adapt to ongoing change Natural Fiber Welding is an EOE.
