Mat Maxwell Mat Maxwell is an American musician with over a decade of studio and international touring experience. Having performed alongside some of music’s biggest names, he has developed a reputation for being a go-to player in the industry. Mat is a multi-instrumentalist with a breadth of knowledge in many genres. Bass is his primary instrument, but he is also a deft guitarist and pianist. When not touring or in a session, he enjoys educating and consulting — sharing his experience and knowledge gained over many years in the industry. Jake Sommers By the age of six, Jake Sommers had already learned that drums would be an important piece of his life. Growing up, he studied under Dom Famularo and John Favicchia, spending years honing his craft under the guidance of two masters. Jake would live out his passion and pursue music full-time, relocating from his hometown in New York to Nashville, TN. Jake started drumming around the honky tonk scene on Broadway in Nashville, where he met singer-songwriter/artist by the name of Luke Combs. Jake became Luke Combs’ full-time touring drummer in 2015. In addition to touring, Jake teaches lessons and plays on recording sessions for a variety of artists.
