I am very happy to offer my first group sound bath on the last day of this year. It will take place in the octagonal yoga room at Chantary Chiropractic (formerly mind body beyond center) which has INCREDIBLE acoustics. Bring a yoga mat if you have one (although there are plenty there) and anything you feel you might want to have (crystal, journal, essential oils, eye covering, blanket, etc).
In March I began training with a master sound healer in St. Petersburg, Florida. I bought a few bowls and began my own personal relationship with sound therapy, sharing with friends and family. I've learned that it is a reliable way to access a calm and meditative state (or to activate the parasympathetic nervous system for you science buffs). When we learn to live in that state more, we find deeper healing and satisfaction in life. I've been working at Jasmine Advanced Body Work since June offering private sessions and each one has taught me something...deepened the practice. This event will be a small group of people gathering to breathe slowly, and listen to the bowls. I ask that you consider arriving quietly, saving small-talk and nervous chatter for after the session to whatever extent you can. Spend an hour leading up to it clarifying your own intentions, or if you don't have any intentions that is totally fine too. I learned so many lessons this year, but most of them had to do with how hard I was being on myself. We can't claw our way to wellness, it's all about relaxing and surrendering. Please email or text me if you have any questions. :)
