Description

National headliners Sean Jordan and Taylor Clark close out an amazing night of comedy with the help of some local comedy stars. All for a low price of $10 and located inside the coolest place in Portland! SMART Collective Skate Shop! This show brings skaters and non-skaters together for a night of comedy everyone can enjoy. TAYLOR CLARK With a hit album on spotify, thousands of new followers, and shows all over the country, everyone is discovering Taylor Clark, but skaters found him first. Taylor released a few stand up clips about being a skater and was promptly interviewed by the biggest skate mags in the world, Thrasher Magazine and Low card Magazine to name a few. He became credited as the firs comic to ever do stand up about skating that was "actually funny" and has been on a non-stop US tour doing of clubs and theaters, but prefers to tour skateshops. His shows are packed with high octane levels of energy, sneaky punchlines and a shocking amount of obsurd true stories. As well as being a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, a performer at the Lauging Skull Comedy Festival, opening for Mark Normand, Joe List, Jeff Ross, and many others, he's also a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Just ask Sean Jordan... SEAN JORDAN Lifelong skater Sean Jordan is a stand up comedian and podcaster who co-hosts the wildly popular podcast All Fantasy Everything and hosts the always-good-news podcast What’s Dank That I’m Stoked On. Sean was named Portland’s Funniest Person by Willamette Week Magazine, has written for Comedy Central, and he was named one of the “Comics to Watch” by Splitsider Magazine. In 2019, Sean charted at #2 on iTunes with the release of his debut stand up album The Buck Starts Here on A Special Thing Records. He is a regular guest and fan favorite on Doug Bensons’ podcast Doug Loves Movies, and you may also have heard him on Professor Blastoff, The Crabfeast, Put Your Hands Together and Alison Rosen is Your Best Friend. Sean has performed in comedy festivals around the country, including the High Plains Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Sketch Fest in San Francisco. His stand up comedy has been described as “You get the sense this is sincerity, not shtick. And so it's not surprising Jordan is so popular with his peers in the scene—other comics, club staff and promoters. His buoyancy can be hard to crack.” Besides sharing that positive attitude buoyancy, Sean has recently been practicing how to swaddle his new daughter. Ask him for swaddle tips anytime. Sean and Taylor welcome some of portlands finest comics to be on the show with them which guarantees this to bne on of the most unique nights of comedy you will ever experience. See you at the shop!
