Kavabenders is a unique way to take your “kava bar experience “ to next level . As most of us know the kava community over the years feels like it’s been created as a second home , somewhere we can feel safe with some sense of community. In the island of Tonga a king will not be noble/knighted until a kava ceremony is completed. This is a spiritual gathering that consist of chief the Taki ( server for the guest of honor for the day ) and the tribe . In history this type of cermony is usually a tribe welcoming a prestigious member to their village or a group. It is a blessing for whomever owns the land granting acces to their tribe through the love of kava their medicine , or a chief and tribe requested to travel to other lands by unifying leaders together . It is essentially a right of passage . I like to believe we are bridging that gap by practicing this art that should be exposed and expressed in the United States , for the tribs in Fiji , tonga , papa New Guinea etc it is all about community.I feel compelled to bring to my people my influences interweaved with the beautiful south Florida kava bar community!!!
