Larry A. Stein serves on the Texas A&M University Graduate Faculty and has been on the departmental promotion and tenure committee since 1998. He serves on the Executive Board of the Texas Superstar committee and been the horticulture representative for Extension’s drought management committee since 1996. In addition he serves as an advisor to the Texas Pecan Growers Association and to the Texas Association of Olive Oil. He is senior editor of the Pecan Handbook which is the text for this event.
