The Public Education Foundation and EduFab are hosting the 1st annual Fab Connect Experience, June 5 - 6, 2023 in Chattanooga, TN, in partnership with the Global Center for Digital Innovation. This unique event is designed to provide opportunities for makerspace, FabLab, and STEM lab leaders to engage with like-minded individuals in an effort to create national network as we collaborate to "Build What's Next!" If you lead a FabLab or makerspace in a formal or informal educational setting, or if you run a community space, this event is for you. It will be a chance to engage with others who share your passion as we all exchange insights, ideas, best practices, and work together to continue to drive forward in this space! The 2-day event will feature an opening address from Sherry Lassiter, President of the Fab Foundation, and will provide an curated series of "unconferences" for attendees to connect and engage in rich discussion around maker topics they identify. We will also highlight attendees through 3-minute deep dive presentations crowd sourced throughout the first morning. On Tuesday, attendees will have an opportunity to participate in up to two half-day working group sessions with niche strands curated and led by experts from across the country.
