Do you have a Mardi Gras project or costume in mind but lack the space, tools, or knowledge to build it? We can help! Whether you have some woodworking experience or are new to the craft, we can help you to make that project a reality. Tools, glue, and some scrap wood are available for use on your project. All other materials will need to be brought with you to open shop. Once you sign up for open shop, we will reach out to find out more about your project and make sure you have everything you need to complete it. About the Instructor Chelsea Van Voorhis is a visual artist focused on creating fashion forward pieces out of wood with social and political commentary. She uses traditional woodworking materials and techniques to make non-traditional pieces.
