Guitarist Looking for Alt Rock / Emo Band??

Hello! I'm Mateo, a 22 year old guitarist who's been playing for 7-8 years now, looking to start or join some sort of local project. I have experience in bands and playing shows, but my last few bands have broken up due to personality conflicts and I'm looking to find something consistent to put some real effort into. I would love to put together an EP, play some shows, and see where things go! Preferably I'd like to find people around my age, its just more comfortable for me personally. I listen to anything from The Strokes to Ice Nine Kills, so I'm really open to joining most any project, I just figured alt rock is a good middle ground I could find a lot of people to work with in. Some of my main influences that I've been listening to a lot lately and would love to incorporate are: Get Scared Highly Suspect Silversun Pickups Any classic emo stuff like MCR I can sing if its what's needed to fill out the band, but I'm definitely open to other vocalists because I put more time into my guitar than vocals. I hope to hear from you soon and maybe put something together!
