This past week my LOCKED locker at Blink Fitness was burglarized. I lost my wallet, phone and an expensive watch with great sentimental value. Blink Fitness won't do anything about it, namely, cover my loss with its insurance -- which it claims not to have! This was not an isolated incident. Another member's locker was burglarized at the same time as mine. Three days later while being questioned by the Yonkers Police Dept., at the Blink gym at Cross County Mall, ANOTHER Blink member approached us because he was just robbed. Since I was robbed, I learned that this is a regular occurence at this gym. Part of the problem is that the gym has no regular manager on a day-to-day basis.
I warn anyone reading this that if joining a gym in 2023 is a New Year's resolution, don't join Blink! Find a different gym in a safer neighborhood -- a gym which is concerned about its members' safety.
