90’s Country Dance band is seeking final piece of the puzzle in a Lead guitarist. Someone that knows country. We are ready to gig and have many connections as well as a number of venues waiting on us. This band has been in the making for over 7 months now and FINALLY got the right people set in stone. We are seeking that lead guitarist that’s hopefully is looking for his last band and please no beginners or anyone under 40, this is not a garage band). We are looking for someone that is somewhat healthy, Ideally it would be nice if someone can sing backups but not a deal breaker, however, someone that will do there homework and not use rehearsal for learning the material, cuz that is a deal breaker. The plan is strong harmonies which everyone in the band can sing and has great harmonies. Our band consists of lead vocalist, bass guitarist/harmonies, keyboardist/harmonies and drummer/harmonies, Again, all are solid seasoned musicians in our late 40’s to late 50’s with many many years of stage experience, some of us have played together before in other bands and the rest I hand picked because of there music ability and work ethics. We’re looking for a lead guitarist that is looking for a really good solid band. We are not however looking for someone that wants to come in and take over the band. We’re not gonna change the name of the band. We’re not gonna drop our set list to play yours but that don’t mean that we won’t play some tunes you like (IF) it’s the same direction as what we’re doing. We are 35 songs in and ready to gig, We should be a top notch band here in the DFW area musically and vocally. This is for fun, not looking to make the big times and not playing for money but it’s nice getting paid and we don’t play for free. We rehearse every other Saturday starting between 10-11am so if that time don’t work for you then you won’t work for us. We all have families and jobs but do want someone somewhat committed and serious. If your in other projects please don’t respond, I’m not canceling a gig so you can go play with your other project. We do have many contacts as some are waiting on us as we speak. We do mostly 90’s classic country and depending on the venue we will throw in some country rock. If you don’t like these songs were Not your band. We want someone that likes playing these tunes and wants to be in this band. We do ask you send a pre audition video playing a country song or two. Nothing special just in ur car or home recorded on ur phone is fine. I’m not wasting anymore time people calling telling us what a professional badass they are and bringing them in and realizing they just starting playing a year ago. I don’t mean to sound like an ass but you don’t know what we’ve been going through with our last vocalist and now our guitarist (nightmare) we all get along really well, lots of joking and pranks and we all hangout together afterwards. We have a great time together but we do know when it’s time to get serious. So if this looks like something your interested in please call or text me .
