Hello we are looking for a lead guitarist w/ability to harmonize vocally is a plus! We are located in the Kalamazoo area. We’re looking for someone who shares our vision of creating a light, FUN experience for our audience. Our music selections will be mostly covers, SOME with aN ORIGINAL twist and mashups and maybe a couple originals dabbled with some light humor. (Let’s have FUN!) Imagination, creativity, and flexibility are very important. Some bands we cover are Nirvana, Green Day, White stripes, 4 non blondes, Adam Sandler, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jewel, & Fleetwood Mac, Cake, Sliverchair, Stone Temple Pilots, Aretha Franklin, The Neighbors, Ferrell Williams, Sublime, But like to reach into ALL genres from 50’s - now. We want to BUILD EXCITING toe tapping, rump shaking, sing along energy. We don’t want an act, as much as a genuine performance and a real connection with the audience. Responsible people with reliable transportation. We’re in careers but are committed to making a great product and are accountable to each other. Solo practice is critical. If you don’t practice y’all are fired. I mean it. Fired... Axed. Out of here. Bring your A game. We all have kids and careers but are passionate about the work we put into this group. You should be too. Practice once per week (together) with a target of one show per week. Real experience is a plus but not critical. Samples are available upon request.
