The Hated (Annapolis) have reunited to play their first show in over 30 years! Heralded as being one of the very first "emo" bands ever (before such a term existed), The Hated have attained legendary status over the years. This show will be their only east coast performance, so make your travel plans now! To honor the occasion, the show will be in an Annapolis area fire hall (Earleigh Heights Fire Hall, Severna Park, MD), in hopes of rekindling the DIY punk energy so many of us knew and loved. The hall is one of a group of such places where young MD/DC area punk bands played in the mid 80's to mid 90's, to fill the need for local, all ages shows. Our hope is that this event will reunite friends and family, old and new, and bring the scene back together for one night of celebration! The opening slot for the show will include performances from several friends of the band, each playing a short acoustic set, including The Deadwood Divine|Tom LoMacchio, Max Ochs, Kevin Barker, as well as the possibility for a few special surprise guests! We recommend getting your tickets early, as this is certain to sell out quickly! Last but not least, doors are at 7pm, and no one will be admitted once The Hated has taken the stage.
