To support our growing company, we are looking for an experienced driver to join our team. Our driver will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, transporting materials from one location to another, and reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues in a timely matter. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a clean driving record and an ability to work well within a team. Responsibilities/Requirements: Drive in urban areas and local highways. Drive in bad weather conditions. Drive at night. Maneuver truck and 40ft trailer threw tight spaces. Be able to manage time properly. Be able to lift heavy items. Be able to secure your load, using provided equipment as needed for the load. Which may include but are not limited to chains, binders, straps, tarps, and dunnage. Be willing to educate yourself on the load and how to secure it. Must be able to read and write in English. Must be able to drive multiple hours per day. Must be US citizen. Driver License (CDL preferred) ELD knowledge(preferred but not required) Must pass criminal background check Must have a smart phone Experience 1 year of flatbed semi or flatbed hotshot trucking experience. (required) 1 year commercial vehicle driving experience (required) TWIC Card (preferred ) Hazmat endorsement (preferred) Clean driving record. No accidents or citations within the past three years. Must pass drug test and criminal background check Must pass DOT physical exam. COVID-19 considerations: Pay structure: 20-30% gross amount of the loads for the week. Pay percentage is based on experience and qualifications. All drivers must wear proper PPE and face masks to every pick up and drop off location, provided by the employer. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $800.00 - $1,500 per week Benefits: Safety equipment provided Supplemental pay types: Performance bonus Trucking driver type: Company driver Solo driver Trucking route: Dedicated Regional COVID-19 considerations: Common surfaces in truck must be sanitized routinely at the end of each shift.
