Join City Year Kansas City for an in-person physical service project to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on MLK Day, Monday, January 16, 2022. Location – Central Middle School, 3611 Linwood Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64128Date – Monday, January 16, 2022Time – Registration 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM / Volunteer Program 9:00 AM – 2:00 PMParticipants will be assigned to a service project at registration. Projects include mural painting, canvas painting, cleaning and organizing. No supplies or experience necessary. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Age Requirements - We ask that all volunteers be at least 11 years old and that minors remain in the company of their parent or guardian during the event. We apologize that we are unable to facilitate a kid zone for this event for our younger volunteers.
