After a seven-year hiatus from live performances to focus on his acting career, Elvis returned with his 1968 NBC television special. Following the critical success of the special, in 1969 ,His manager, Colonel Tom Parker, arranged for him to play a concert residency at the newly built International Hotel In Las Vegas Nevada. In 1970 he began to tour the United States again in after a thirteen-year hiatus. In late 1972 Parker mentioned to the press that arrangements were being made for to play a concert via satellite to live audiences worldwide. The Aloha from Hawaii concert took place on January 14, at 12:30 a.m so it could be viewed at prime time Via Satellite around the world! All proceeds of the show exceeded the planned US$25,000 and US$75,000 was raised for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund. On January 14th 2023 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of "Aloha From Hawaii" we are proud to present "ALOHA FROM FLORIDA" ! where we will be recreating this historic concert! Together with the Memphis Project Band & Vocal group "Harmony", World Champion/Las Vegas Headliner Ted Torres Martin will bring the magic of the "Aloha From Hawaii" show back to life for all to enjoy.
