With current times, Muslims can feel anomalous and out of place: we pray when people sleep and fast when people eat. How can we hold on to our Deen in school, work, and our daily lives when we are strangers to this world? The Prophet said “Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.'” (Sahih Muslim). The Sacred Time Project is an annual Islamic conference founded by the University of Michigan Ann Arbor MSA and has been preserved for 10+ years.
