Hello! My name is Taryn and I just recently moved to Baltimore. I’m a 29 year old musician that plays guitar, drums, bass, vocals. (On a side note, I’m looking for band mates to form an original rock band NO COVERS). I’v been writing and recording my own demos for a few years and want to record any local bands or projects for people who can’t afford it. I never had the opportunity to be able to record due to being in a very rural area and poor. I’m not asking for money, just experience to explore recording other artists and not just myself. All my personal musical equipment is free to use for recording, as well. I can help any singer/songwriter, band, artist finish their unfinished demos. I can play and record your drum tracks or guitars if you don’t play those instruments and need them. I’m also pretty decent at layering together vocal harmonies and know people who could sing and record vocals for you, including myself, for free. My main goal out of this is to be able to help out some local bands with the costs of recording and maybe help them be able to use that money elsewhere. I also just want to meet some local musicians in the area because I’m new and want to know what the local music scene is like. Full disclosure, I will be recording at my personal home with my girlfriend helping me with sound engineering to speed up the recording process. And any band or band members who are younger than 18 need to have an parent, or an adult supervisor approved by a parent, present at all times when recording). We live in a safe part of Baltimore with a lot of available parking, as well. I record in my soundproofed basement, which has an isolated drum room. I have a full DW kit, Gibson Les Paul, Hand-wired Vox AC15, Telemaster, Fender mustang bass, and a bunch of preamps to record with, in case anyone wouldn’t have any gear to record.
