We're Eyetooth and we just released our debut album. Our original lead guitarist has moved on and we're looking to audition prospects for his replacement. We are a quintet with drums, bass, keyboard/synth and vocals. We have a strong preference for a musician with backing or co-lead vocal ability as well as proficiency with additional instruments. Must be a good listener, have a sense of humor, and have a well-defined original style to compliment our writing. Please reply with examples of your ability to play in non-standard time signatures and/or with polyrhythms. Some of our influences and artists we admire: Opeth, Sungazer, Mr. Bungle, The Melvins, The Mars Volta, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Herbie Hancock, Massive Attack, King Crimson, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Rishloo, J Dilla, Tool We want to hear what you sound like, so professional recordings are preferred along with any live footage you would like to share. We are looking for a professional attitude as we all take this seriously and are trying to capitalize on some significant opportunities.
